The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regard to the large variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA SRD services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The support position designed for intervention activities a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all consumers and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
